Android on other devices
It’s confirmed that android can run on other devices than just cellphones. For example, I succesfully run it on my Nokia N810. Except the G1 and ADP1, Kogan alredy released phones with android. Dell and Motorola, just to mention some, is using it in prototypes.

my most used android apps
I have been using my android dev phone (ADP1) for a while now (nearly 2 months) and I still love it. I love it.
The most used apps right now is;
Twidroid for using twitter. Very nice indeed; GPS (location support), photo posting with phodroid.com etc.
Connectbot for my ssh sessions.
Photobeam for uploading photos to my Flickr.
Gmote. I think its quite cool to play my music, view movies,...

open spotify uri in linux
the other night I received a spotify uri from a guitarist (will do a couple of gigs in Germany with him). Since Im on ubuntu I didnt know how to open it… Anyways, I managed to figure it out by looking at spotify’s website - the trick was to supply an argument to spotify; /uri. For me the command looks something like; % wine "C:\Program Files\Spotify\spotify.exe" /uri...

Studio session - Cherry Tess
I was engaged in a studio session, at the Netport studio in Karlshamn a couple of weeks ago, as bassplayer in Cherry Tess’ band. We recorded approx 14 songs, which well be released on the upcoming album.

touchpad problem in ubuntu (solved)
There were a few problems after installing Ubuntu (8.10); touchpad and sound did not work properly. However these two issues are now solved;
- it’s a known issue with touchpad on the Dell XPS M1530 laptops. It’s all over the place, quite useless. However this can be solved editing /boot/grub/menu.lst - add; i8042.nomux=1 right before splash on the kernel line. Something like this;...

finally...
Just installed Ubuntu on my laptop. Im happy. Everything worked. Just some tweaks with touchpad. First things to install was emacs (no x version), Gwibber, Gmote, Yammer client and, belive it or not Virtual Box in which I’ve created a Windows 7 image… hmmm dunno why I did that but anyways.
Now Im about to install Eve :)
